Craig Joseph Magraff, Jr., age 34 was born on September 23, 1987 in New Orleans, LA departed this earthly home on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. Craig was graduate of Warren Easton Senior High School in New Orleans, class of 2005 (varsity soccer team member, JROTC). He was accepted at the University of New Orleans on an academic scholarship, but before he could move into his dormitory, Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans. He then enrolled at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee. Upon moving back to New Orleans to help his family rebuild the family home, Craig enrolled and graduated from Louisiana State University, class of 2010. He was a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity,Inc. and Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity. Craig was the Founder and CEO of So-Called Media, established February 2012. He was a writer for Tiger Weekly, Where Y'at Magazine, Art+Design Magazine, and many more. Craig temporarily moved to New York working with Teach for America and the Children's Aid Society. Craig loved to express himself through art and was also a self-taught guitarist, journalist, filmmaker, photographer, lyricist, activist, cook, and entrepreneur. He also went by the name FuturisticLyric when performing poetically and musically. Craig's family, who lovingly called him "C.J." will miss him dearly. To his mom, he will always be her sweet baby boy. His survivors include: mother - Janet Magraff; father - Craig Magraff, Sr.; sister - Craishyne Magraff;
